carbon fork on ebay, good deal?

Hey there, does anyone know if this might work for a 2010 Trek 7.2FX?  If it does, it seems like a pretty good deal to upgrade to a carbon fork.

Thanks!

Re: carbon fork on ebay, good deal?

I say it wouldn't be worth the effort and may cause steering issues. Best info I could come up with is the two forks have a rake difference of 5mm, the Lemond fork having less. If installed on your bike this would increase trail and possibly slow your steering but I can't say how much or if it would bother you. Also if you are running the 35c tires I see in the spec I doubt the Lemond fork will clear more than a 28c tire. I can't find measurement for dropout to crown to say for sure.
